YOUR MISSION:
As an Account Manager at KINOVA, you’ll build new client relationships in the conversational AI space and further develop existing opportunities. You won’t be selling off-the-shelf software; instead, you’ll advise companies on how to transform their customer experience with Parloa—from the initial idea through use case discovery and business case development all the way to go-live.
An important part of your role is active sourcing: You’ll identify relevant target customers, find the right points of contact, and turn these connections into qualified sales opportunities. In doing so, you’ll work closely with our operations and leadership teams. Your goal: to turn market opportunities, customer needs, and complex requirements into concrete projects, compelling proposals, and long-term customer relationships.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build new customer relationships in the enterprise and upper mid-market segments and actively source relevant target customers
  • Identify, engage, and win over decision-makers in customer service, operations, IT, AI, CX, and executive management
  • Analyze customer needs, identify relevant use cases, and work with our operations team to develop appropriate solutions
  • Manage sales processes from initial qualification through to close—including discovery, demo, business case, proposal, negotiation, and handoff to delivery
  • Independently prepare, present, and refine pitch decks, proposal documents, requests for proposals, and commercial proposals
  • Work with Parloa and our in-house team to identify market opportunities, leverage partner potential, and drive customer projects forward
  • Use HubSpot as your primary tool: You consistently maintain CRM data, the sales pipeline, activities, forecasts, and next steps, ensuring they are complete and up to date
  • Systematically incorporate feedback from customer conversations into our messaging, our offerings, and our go-to-market strategy

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:

  • Experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in the fields of consulting, SaaS, AI, CX, or digital transformation
  • Experience in actively sourcing new target customers and contacts
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, ideally HubSpot—for you, maintaining the CRM isn’t just an administrative task, but the foundation for effective sales work
  • Ability to independently create sales materials, pitch decks, and proposals and present them persuasively
  • Understanding of sales processes that require extensive consultation and complex customer organizations
  • Ability to analyze customer needs and develop compelling solutions based on that analysis
  • Confident communication with departments, IT, purchasing, and management
  • Enjoyment in bringing together professional, technical, and commercial perspectives
  • A structured approach to work, a commitment to excellence, and a high degree of initiative
  • Excellent German skills and good English skills

HOW YOU CAN SCORE EXTRA POINTS:

  • Experience in the SaaS, CX, CRM, contact center, AI, or digital transformation fields
  • Experience with enterprise sales, RFP processes, sales pitches, or business cases
